55.10% voter turnout at the National Convention… all-time high

The final voter turnout for the People’s Power 3/8 National Convention recorded 55.10%.

The power of the people The Central Party Election Commission announced that as a result of the voting deadline at 6 pm on the 7th, 461,313 out of 837,236 party member electoral corps participated in the vote. Mobile voting was 47.51% and ARS voting was 7.59%.

This is the highest ever, about 10% higher than the final party member vote rate of 45.36% at the 2021 party convention, which elected former representative Lee Jun-seok.

Power of the People The National Election Commission is scheduled to announce the results at the party convention on the 8th.

If no candidate receives more than half of the votes in the party representative election, a runoff will be held for the first and second place candidates. After a one-on-one discussion on the 9th, a mobile vote on the 10th and an ARS vote on the 11th will confirm the party representative on the 12th.
