By sector, trade monopolizes 36.28% of total business creations during the first seven months of the current year, followed by building and public works (BTP) and real estate activities (18%), services miscellaneous (17.47%), transport (9.03%), industries (6.89%), hotels and restaurants (6.4%), the information and communication technologies sector ( 2.59%), agriculture and fishing (2.23%) and financial activities (1.11%), indicates the OMPIC dashboard.
The regional distribution shows the Casablanca-Settat region at the top with 15,435 companies, ahead of Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (7,556), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (7,323), Marrakech-Safi (5,346), Fès- Meknes (4,297), Souss-Massa (3,583), Oriental (3,051), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (2,512), Béni Mellal-Khénifra (1,924), Drâa-Tafilalet (1,480), Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (1,269) and Guelmim-Oued Noun (605).
These companies are divided between legal persons with 38,004 units and natural persons (16,377), specifies the same source.
Regarding the legal form, 62.7% of the companies created are limited liability companies with a single partner (SARLAU), 37% limited liability companies (SARL) and 0.2% public limited companies (SA).
