Riyadh: Saudi citizen claims to have been married 53 times. 63-year-old Abu Abdullah said that he married many times not for personal happiness but for peace of mind. Abdullah’s disclosure was made to the Saudi television channel MBC.

He got married first, not with the intention of remarrying. However, following some time there were problems and he married once more. The first marriage was at the age of 20. His wife was six years older than him.

The second marriage was at the age of 23. After informing his first wife, he got married for the second time. When problems arose in that married life too, he got married once more. After a few days, the relationship with these three people was broken. Later he married 50 more women at various times. Abdullah says that the goal of finding a woman who can make him happy led to many marriages.

A one-night stand was the shortest of Abdullah’s married life. All men want to have a wife and stay committed to that relationship. But due to the situation, they have to get married once more – Abdullah clarified.

Most of the wives were of Saudi origin. On occasions when he had to go abroad for business trips, he also married some local people. However, no relationship was permanent. He currently has a wife. Abu Abdullah said that there is no more marriage and he wants the current relationship to continue till the end of his life.
