Abu Dhabi: UAE Central Bank released silver coins. The UAE Central Bank announced that the silver coins were issued to mark the 50th anniversary of Port Zayed and the 10th anniversary of Khalifa Port. 1,000 silver coins were issued.

The commemorative coins highlight the contribution of ports to economic development, their achievements and the role of ports in the Emirate’s maritime sector.
The weight of the silver coin is 60 grams. The obverse of the coin bears the seal of the Central Bank of the UAE and Ports Group, while the obverse bears the words Port Zayed 50th Anniversary and Khalifa Port 10th Anniversary in English and Arabic. The price is 50 dirhams.
