Starlink explained the details of the service that it will launch in Egypt next year, as it confirmed that the speeds will reach 500 megabits per second, explaining that it will provide many different packages that suit all categories, including individuals or companies, at reasonable prices starting from 110 dollars, or regarding 2090 Egyptian pounds. per month, in addition to the cost of satellite internet receivers.

The “News Egypt” website provides details of the cost of satellite Internet service, according to the official website of Starlink, as follows:

  • “Starlink internet” plan: the price of $110 per month, or regarding 2,090 Egyptian pounds, speed ranging from 50-250 Mbit/s, and the $599 receiver costs regarding 11,381 EGP.
  • “Starlink RV” plan: the price of 135 dollars per month, or regarding 2,565 pounds, speed ranges between 50-250 Mbit / s, and the receiver costs 599 dollars, equivalent to 11,381 pounds.
  • The “Starlink Business” plan: the price of $500, or regarding 2,500 pounds, speed ranges between 150-250 Mbit/s, and the receiver costs $2,500, or regarding 47,500 pounds.

The company added that, unlike these previous systems, it will launch a system for individuals that will provide Starlink satellite Internet with plans at lower costs, but is unlimited, with lower speeds and download capacity, adding that the service is currently present in more than one country such as the Americas and Europe, stressing its endeavor to include the countries of Africa and the Middle East, in addition to a number of Asian countries.
