The SAQ announced Monday that it will have to raise the price of 1,458 products due to inflation. In this context of new price increases, the À vos affaires team invited Marc-André Gagnon, columnist at vinquebec.com, to list wines that represent great business opportunities in the inflationary context that we know.

“It’s a very refreshing wine. A very pleasant red wine. (…) Portugal, Spain, in general, it is good value for money.”
“It is an organic and natural Spanish wine. There is a certain fashion for natural wines, and this one is really good!” A price that stands out, according to Mr. Gagnon, considering that most natural wines generally cost more than $20.
“Year following year, it’s good! I even believe that he is better this year than in previous years.
“It’s a well-made, fruity, dry sparkling wine. (…) It’s much better than many $60 champagnes. I don’t know how they manage to do that at that price!”
“It’s more difficult to find good white wines that aren’t too expensive. It is a dry chardonnay, quite lively, not oaky, rather light. It’s very nice.”
