In an interview with Denny Sumargo at channel YouTube, Dorce once said he wanted to be buried as a woman, Mother. According to him, following undergoing sex change surgery, Dorce wanted to be bathed as a woman.

“Yes, as I am now. Because following surgery I am a woman, I have a female genitalia. Yes, bathe me with a woman,” said Dorce Gamalama.

This statement was controversial. However, in an Instagram post on January 31, Dorce Gamalama finally admitted to being sincere regarding how or how the funeral process was carried out as a man or a woman.

“People have started to talk a lot regarding my death. If I die, take care of my body. If it is a man who takes care of it, take care of it. If it is a woman who takes care of it, take care of it according to the gender I have. God willing, I am sincere,” said Dorce
