Most current iPhones (from the XS, XS Max and XR, to be exact) allow you to use a e.g for your cell plan. With the launch of the iPhone 13 (in 2021), Apple expanded this and started to allow the user to use two eSIMs, that is, eliminating the need to deal with any physical chip.
Despite being much more practical, you may face a problem when using them. So we’ve separated some tips that can help resolve this.
Here we go?! ????
- Put your iPhone in Airplane Mode, wait a few seconds, then turn it off.
- Try restarting the iPhone.
- Make sure the cellular plans themselves are set up and ready to go.
- Check for carrier settings updates. To do this, open Settings and go to General » About.
- If you are having difficulties adding a second eSIM — be it a national or international one, delete the first eSIM, register the second one and then add the first one once more. Claro, specifically, is an operator that suffers from this problem.
- If you are still unable to add or use an eSIM, contact your carrier to verify that there is no service interruption or other issue related to your account.
We hope that following these tips, you will be able to use one or more plans with eSIMs on your iPhone! ????
