5 tips for solving location problems in Maps [iPhone, iPad e Mac]

the native application Maps (Maps) offers several interesting features — among them, the possibility of using Look around and the Flyoverfunctions that unfortunately remain unavailable in Brazil.

Like any self-respecting navigation app, you can also easily check your current location on the map. However, if you are facing any problem related to this, some tips may help you to solve it.

Here we go?! ????️

  • The most common issue that occurs is with the “Location Services” and “Location Access” features. To check if they are turned on, open Settings (on iPhone or iPad), tap “Privacy & Security” and then “Location Services”. Make sure this option is turned on and tap on “Maps” to check if “While Using App or Widgets” is turned on. On Mac, open System Settings, click on “Privacy & Security” and then “Location Services”. Check if this option is turned on and then if “Maps” is activated.
  • Make sure you have an active internet connection on your iPhone/iPad or Mac.
  • On iPhone/iPad, make sure the date, time and time zone are set correctly on the device. To do this, open Settings, tap “General” and then “Date & Time”. Check if the option “Automatically” is activated.
  • If you’re indoors, with poor reception, try taking your iPhone/iPad outside.
  • Force close the Maps app and reopen it.
  • Restart iPhone/iPad or Mac.

We hope that following that you will be able to use the app normally out there! ????
