The Al-Ahly club’s board of directors received final approval for the attendance of 5,000 fans during the team’s match once morest Al-Hilal of Sudan in the African Champions League.
Al-Ahly and Al-Hilal will meet next Sunday at Al-Ahly We Al-Salam Stadium in the last round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
A source in Al-Ahly said, in exclusive statements to Laila Koura, that there was a meeting that took place this followingnoon, Wednesday, in which the officials of the Red Castle were notified, with the attendance of 5,000 fans in the Al-Hilal match.
The source added: “Al-Ahly has the right to attend 4,500 spectators, while the Sudanese Crescent will have a share of 500 spectators.”
Al-Ahly (7 points) is in second place in the first group, which includes Sundowns (13 points – qualifying deduction), Al Hilal is in third place (4 points), equal with Al-Marikh, the last place holder.
