1. Edit messages

The message editing feature allows the user to edit any message they sent to correct an error or insert any additional information that was missing. It was implemented by Telegram in May 2016but only in May 2023 did WhatsApp make the same functionality available to its users.

2. Add more members to a group

4. Single account on multiple cell phones

A great feature of Telegram is being able to use the same account on several devices at the same time, be they cell phones, tablets or computers. This feature exists since April 2015. Nonetheless, only on April 25, 2023 WhatsApp allowed simultaneous access to an account on two or more smartphones.

5. Share files up to 1.5GB

Sending large files, whether photos, videos or documents within instant messaging applications is a great ease. Since March 2015, Telegram allows you to send files of up to 1.5GB. However, it was only in February 2023 that WhatsApp allowed the sending of files of up to 2GB (previously 16MB).
