1- Control camera iPhone
You can control your iPhone’s camera with your Apple Watch, and this is especially useful if you need to take a selfie without having to set a timer on your iPhone’s camera or tap the shutter button.
Open the Camera app on your Apple Watch. This will also open the Camera app on your phone. The app has a three-second timer enabled by default so you don’t appear in the photo when you tap your watch.
To find the Camera app on the Apple Watch, just browse your apps on the watch by clicking the Digital Crown, then selecting the app with the camera icon.
This will open the camera on your iPhone, and a preview of what the camera sees will appear on your watch screen.
You can choose the front or back camera directly from your watch, in addition to the ability to activate other options before shooting, such as: flash, and pressing and holding the camera button will record a video clip.
2- Use the automatic timer to wash hands
You can use the Apple smart watch by activating the hand-washing timer feature on the watch.
And when you start washing your hands, the Apple Watch can automatically detect when you start washing hands, then it starts a 20-second countdown, and the watch vibrates when the time is up.

3- Launch the Apple Maps application on the watch
The Apple Watch works well with the Apple Maps application.
And you can follow directions directly from the Apple Watch without having to hold the iPhone, and you will also get sensory alerts in the form of a vibration that you feel on your wrist when you need to turn or change the direction of travel.
But you must look at your watch to confirm the direction if you don’t have earphones to hear the direction of the sound at the same time the watch is vibrating.
4- Sleep tracking
Many Apple Watch owners use this watch to track sleep, as it is able to track sleep stages and cycles with good accuracy, and when used with the Health app on the iPhone, it becomes more useful.
The Health app contains all the data regarding your sleep hours from past nights, with the ability to adjust your sleep schedule within the app.
And if you add a sleep schedule from 11:15 p.m. to 6:15 a.m. for example, which means you’ll get reminders to start getting ready for bed each night at 10:30 p.m.
Focused sleep mode will be activated automatically on the iPhone and Apple Watch every day during the (sleep) hours you specified earlier.

5- Make payments
Using Apple Pay on your iPhone is a good way to get rid of carrying cards and cash, and easily pay with your phone.
And you can take advantage of this service in the Apple Watch as well, which allows payment without having to take the iPhone out of your bag or pocket, and you can use the service from the watch even if the iPhone is not with you at the time.
