Nevertheless, it contains an enormous number of important nutrients that can have positive effects on our health in the context of an otherwise balanced diet.

What is maca anyway?

The Maca plant grows in the Peruvian mountains. The traditional cultivation area is in the Andes at an altitude of around 4,000 meters. The plant is therefore extremely robust and can withstand wind, intensive UV radiation and constant temperature fluctuations.
