For many, Christmas dinner is synonymous with turkey, chestnuts, logs… but also arguments. In order to avoid finishing dinner this year at loggerheads, a psychosociologist enlightens us on the clumsy formulas to forget during the evening.
The end of year holidays are fast approaching, and in the days to come, it is very likely that your mental load will become as heavy as Santa’s sack and that your stress level will increase. In question? The traditional family meals of December 24 and 25 which sometimes transform in certain clans into a scene of passionate arguments. Certain phrases, although innocently pronounced, can act as detonators, risking transforming the joyful atmosphere around the table into a minefield of uneasiness or conflict. Psychosociologist Dominique Picard, specialist in social relations and author of several works on the subject, identifies some that should be banned and explains why.
