The Cairo-Alexandria agricultural road in the city of Toukh, Qalyubia Governorate, witnessed a collision of 6 cars, “two heavy transport vehicles, a 28-passenger bus, two microbus and a jumbo pick-up.” The accident resulted in the injury of 5 people, who were transferred to Banha Teaching Hospital. The investigation, and the men of the city of Toukh spared the cars and facilitated traffic on the road.
Major General Ghaleb Mustafa, Director of Qalyubia Security, received a notification from Major General Amjad Mahfouz, Director of the General Administration of Qalyubia Traffic, stating that a report had been received for rescue operations of a collision between 6 heavy transport vehicles, microbus, jumbo and bus, on the Cairo-Alexandria Agricultural Road within the Toukh Police Station.
Immediately, the security forces, traffic men and the crisis room of Toukh City Council moved to the scene of the accident, and by inspection and examination, it was found that a collision occurred between 6 cars, which are “Trilla with SMB trailer 7912 / SL 2785, and Trailer with trailer A and T 7163 / DG 1632 A white microbus A and H 526, a white microbus B L C 3928, a 28-passenger white bus ( A D) 9982, and a jumbo car of white transport text D J B 956.
The accident resulted in the injury of 5 people: Afifi Najeh Afifi, 35 years old (bruises on the body), a resident of Benha, Samar Mohamed Madi, 25 years old (abdominal bleeding), a resident of Benha, Mohamed Mahmoud Mohamed, 27 years old (fracture of the right leg) and a resident of Benha, and Saber Mahmoud Al-Sayed, 50 years old. (fracture in the left knee) and a resident of Benha, and Fayza Ahmed Abdel Rahman, 50 years old (suspected post-concussion), and a resident of Benha, and they were immediately transferred to Benha Teaching Hospital.
While the city council of Toukh, headed by Ahmed Al-Wazira, the mayor of Toukh city, and Mustafa Hassanein, the city’s vice-president, paid the equipment, and the cars were spared from the road and traffic was opened to travelers on the road, a report was issued regarding the incident and the prosecution took over the investigation.
