The government took a number of important decisions and approved 3 draft decisions for the President of the Republic. These included the fifth, sixth, and seventh amendments to the agreement signed between Egypt and the United States of America on improving health outcomes in basic education, and the Egyptian-American higher education initiative.
Strengthening the family planning and reproductive health programme
The agreement aims to focus primarily on several activities related to health, population, family planning and reproductive health, to make it more effective and sustainable, while improving healthy habits and strengthening systems in the field of combating Corona.
In the field of basic education, the agreement aims to improve basic skills for students and improve reading, sports and English skills for primary school students, in addition to enabling secondary school students to solve sports and science issues related to life, training new teachers and improving the school board of trustees.
Amending the partnership agreement between Egypt and the French Development Agency
The Council of Ministers also approved a draft amendment to the President’s decision regarding the partnership agreement with the French Agency to implement the cooperation project in order to support the teaching of French as a foreign language in public schools.
The government also agreed to amend a draft decision on approving the agreement establishing the new development bank of the BRICS bloc.
Allocating an area of land owned by the state for the benefit of Beni Suef Governorate
The Council of Ministers approved a project to allocate an area of 1.21 acres, equivalent to 5,100 square meters of state-owned private land, located in the direction of Chancellor Adly Mansour, for the benefit of Beni Suef Governorate, in order to use it in establishing a natural gas fuel station in accordance with the applicable rules.
Re-dealing on the plot of land located in the clubs area
The council also approved a housing request regarding the re-dealing of a plot of land in Al-Nawadi area on an area of 20 acres on October 6 for the benefit of Misr University for Science and Technology, with settling disputes with the university in a satisfactory agreement that serves the interest of the state.
