An unpronounceable name behind which hides “a very annoying malfunction”, as Carlito had indicated last March, anxious to give news to its subscribers. It is indeed a rare and congenital intestinal dysfunction, which is characterized by severe constipation, vomiting and abdominal distension, and which can lead to bowel obstruction.
Since surgery is the only curative treatment for this rare pathology, the child had to be operated on. This Monday, April 24, Carlito, whose real name is Raphaël Carlier, announced the good news on Instagram: “The operation went very well. 5 a.m. in the block. Our son had 25 centimeters of his ‘diseased’ colon removed. Irecovered it well and that’s it, everything works perfectly”.
Sensitive to “hospital cause”, all the more since he found out at his expense “the state of our dear French health”the Youtuber hastened to thank the “Trousseau Hospital staff” in Paris, who took care of her son. “You are amazing. However, some children keep a chronic intestinal dysmotilityi.e. an irregular force, speed or coordination of the muscles responsible for intestinal transit, which requires vigilance and monitoring for lifeor even a suitable diet.
The frequency of this disease is estimated at about 1 in 5,000 births, according to Necker Hospital.
