4th grader saves two 12th graders from drowning

On April 12, the People’s Committee of Ia Pa district (Gia Lai province) confirmed that Kpa Nguyen (born in 2013, class 4C, Nguyen Ba Ngoc Primary School, Kim Tan Commune, Ia Pa District) had just saved two people from drowning. .

According to initial information, a group of regarding 20 12th grade students from Nguyen Tat Thanh High School invited each other to the Ba River, which flows through the territory of Mo Nang 2 village (Kim Tan commune, Ia Pa district) to play.

Here the group invited each other to the river to bathe, unfortunately, TD (SN 2005, village 2, Kim Tan commune) and HQBT (SN 2005, Doan Ket village, Ia Mron commune) fell into the deep water.

Seeing that you are drowning, but due to the deep water, most of the students can’t swim, so they stand on the shore and call for help.

At this time, Kpă Nguyen was passing by, seeing that, he immediately jumped into the water to pull the victim’s shirt and bring him to shore. Currently, D. and T.’s health is stable, so they have returned to study.

“At that time, I saw my brothers and sisters struggling in the middle of the water. I just thought I knew how to swim, so I jumped in to save him. The water was very deep, I was very tired, but I still tried my best,” shared Kpă Nguyen.
