The collision left him with none. This Wednesday morning, around 6 a.m., a truck driving towards Tournai on the E403 hit a 48-year-old man who was working on this highway. The Antwerp man was killed instantly.
The 40-year-old was installing road signs for upcoming work when he was hit by the truck, reports Het Laatste Nieuws. If the trucker did not stop immediately, he turned around a few meters further (at the A18 interchange) to return to the scene of the accident.
Despite the rapid intervention of the emergency services, the victim might not be revived.
