DEPUTY Chairman of the DPR RI and Daily Chair of the Gerindra Party, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, revealed that the ministries in the government cabinet of President-Elect Prabowo Subianto and Vice President-Elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka will number around 44-46 ministries.
“I still want to calculate the finalization, how many,” said Dasco at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, as reported by Antara, Saturday (12/10).
He admitted that he had received information that the nomenclature of the existing ministries really wanted to optimize the functions of the ministries as best as possible so that they were useful for the people.

According to him, the number of ministries that will exist for the next government will focus on fulfilling Prabowo Subianto’s campaign promises.
“Asta Cita and 17 Action Programs, which will then be implemented in ministries, both existing ones, as well as ministries that are split into new ministries,” he said.
Apart from that, according to him, the DPR RI will also adjust the number of commissions to the number of ministries. Therefore, according to him, the DPR is still continuing to coordinate with the new government candidates.

“We hope that Monday at the leadership and deliberative body meeting it will be close to a fix,” he said.
