Paramount revealed that the second edition of the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards Abu Dhabi will be held at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island. The event was presented by Jessie J, the award-winning British artist, and included children voting for their favorite characters across the region and the world in the film, television and music sectors, as it witnessed a record number of participants in the voting process, amounting to 46 million votes.
Oussi Mroué, a popular social media star and content creator, co-hosted the ceremony and distributed Nickelodeon Balloon Awards to the winners in 16 categories, including social media influencer Ghaith Marwan, actress Mayan El Sayed, and Moroccan singer and songwriter Manal.
The event provided the audience with performances by a group of talented artists such as the international band Now United, the Palestinian-Chilean singer, author and songwriter Eliana, the Saudi artist Badr Al-Shuaibi, the Palestinian singer-songwriter Noelle Kharman, the Jordanian singer-songwriter Issam Al-Najjar, and the superstar Silawi.
