His conviction by the Joint Jury was unanimous, and no mitigating circumstances were recognized.
A well-known lawyer from Athens was unanimously sentenced to 45 years in prison, as it was proven that he repeatedly raped two minor girls, 9 and 11 years old.
The Joint Jury Court did not recognize any mitigation for him, while a request to suspend the sentence against him was rejected.
The 64-year-old was also convicted on charges of indecent abuse of minors under the age of 12, as well as child pornography.
What the lawyer claimed
He denied the accusations and claimed that it was a scam against him.
It is noted that the lawyer in question has in the past been irrevocably convicted for a case of child pornography and sexual indecency, at the expense of another minor, while another trial is underway where he is accused of attempted rape and abuse of a minor in lawlessness.
The condemned man was taken shortly before midnight on Saturday to the Transfer Department, where he will be held until Holy Tuesday, when he will be sent to prison.
It is worth noting that sensational complaints were made against the well-known lawyer in OPEN in 2021.
