The average price of gasoline this week in Seoul, the most expensive region in Korea, was 1,656.1 won, down 43.5 won, and in Daegu, the lowest-priced region, was 1,494.6 won, down 50.2 won.

By brand, GS Caltex gas station was the most expensive at 1,578.8 won per liter, and thrifty gas station was the cheapest at 1,543.4 won.

The average selling price of diesel this week was 1,797.2 won per liter, down 48.6 won from the previous week.

Diesel sales prices fell for the fourth week in a row on a weekly basis.

On a daily basis, it recorded 1,796.67 won on the 13th of this month, falling below 1,800 won.

It is the first time since March 10 (1,781.84 won) that the daily diesel sales price recorded 1,700 won per liter.

However, the ‘price reversal’ phenomenon, where diesel is more expensive than gasoline, continues.
