The gang spectacle is just around the corner: On December 30th, the ASK Ybbs invites you to the 41st edition of its indoor masters in the Ybbs leisure center from 1 p.m.
Many derbies will once once more provide excitement in the two groups and then in the final phase: In the Haustechnik Fichtinger group, the first team from ASK Ybbs, SC Melk, SV Gottsdorf, SV Pöchlarn and SV Petzenkirchen will duel; The Jürgen Brandstetter insurance broker group features Rudi’s Weichberger All Stars, last year’s winner SVg Purgstall, ÖTSU Steinakirchen and the second Ybbser team. At Rudi’s All Stars there will also be former professional footballers to marvel at: the former SKN St. Pölten kicker and now poker professional Mario Mosböck, Michael Ambichl, Markus Kernal, Markus Pistrol and Marco Talir. “It will be an interesting tournament across the board,” says ASK chairman Christian Eplinger.

Last year’s crowd favorite, team player and VfL Wolfsburg professional Patrick Wimmer will not be there. In addition to many other prizes, you can win a signed original jersey from Patrick Wimmer, Rapid’s Jonas Auer, Sturm Graz’ David Affengruber and Vienna’s David Peham in the big Christmas raffle.
The anticipation is particularly great for SVg Purgstall, who are competing as defending champions – a week before things get hot at the SKU Amstetten indoor masters. “The indoor masters in Ybbs is in no way inferior to the tournament in Amstetten in terms of quality. As defending champions, we will also compete in Ybbs with the best team and use it as perfect preparation for the Amstettner Masters,” explains Purgstall chairman Gerhard Buchegger.
A lot of young talent is also waiting for us as a supporting program: on December 28th there will be tournaments for the U10, U12 and U14 from 9 a.m.; On December 29th, U9, U11 and U13 will meet from 9 a.m.; and on December 30th the U8 footballers will play from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
