4110 sacrifices received by Abu Dhabi slaughterhouses on the second day of Eid

Yesterday, Sunday, the second day of the blessed Eid, the slaughterhouses of Abu Dhabi city witnessed a continuous turnout of sacrifices, amid strict preventive measures, as the slaughterhouses and smart applications dedicated to requesting sacrifices received 4110 sacrifices until the followingnoon time, bringing the total of sacrifices to 12,858 various sacrifices during the first and second days of Eid. Al-Adha.
Dr. Ziyad Al-Hayali, Head of the Veterinary Monitoring Division at the Public Health Department in the Abu Dhabi City Municipality told Al-Khaleej that Abu Dhabi slaughterhouses and smart applications received, until the end of the first day of Eid Al-Adha, 8748 sacrifices, including 1,815 sacrifices received by the automated slaughterhouse, in Zayed Port, while the slaughterhouse received Baniyas 3807, Al Wathba slaughterhouse 976, and Al Shahama slaughterhouse 2150.
He explained that the slaughterhouses in Abu Dhabi had received, until Sunday followingnoon, 4,110 sacrifices, including 390 in the automated slaughterhouse in Zayed Port, 2,350 in the Baniyas slaughterhouse, 590 in the Al Wathba slaughterhouse, and 780 in the Al Shahama slaughterhouse. It is expected that slaughterhouses will receive more numbers of different types during Eid days.
And he indicated that until the end of the first day of Eid in the slaughterhouses in Abu Dhabi, 30 sheep that were not fit for use and did not comply with health conditions were executed by medical staff following the necessary examinations, while 9 sheep were executed until the followingnoon of the second day of Eid.
He pointed out that the municipality has allocated a flexible mechanism for slaughter, in line with the sacrifices, as it has allocated car lines outside the slaughterhouse, and internal paths to receive the sacrificed, by delivering the carcass and receiving it, without the need for them to get out of the car, and not to enter the slaughter hall and prevent the reception of sacrifices from the public without a car. Pointing out that the time during which the sacrifice is prepared does not exceed 20 minutes, and the fees for preparing the sacrifices during Eid are the same on other days.
