Four women have been withdrawn so far dead from the sinking of a boat with migrants in its waters Agios Isidoros, northwest of Samos.

Another 26 migrants were located on land and found to be related to the specific incident, while among them one person was identified as trafficker who was arrested and will be taken to the prosecutor.
A total of 30 people have been rescued so far and have been transferred to the Reception and Identification Center of the KYT of Samos.
Searches at the spot where the boat sunk continue today by boats of the Port Authority and passing ships to locate any missing persons. A team of the Underwater Missions Unit is also moving to the spot to assist in the investigations. According to the survivors, one more person is missing.
