3rd dose at the end of symptoms for people who have had COVID-19

People who have recently had COVID-19 will be able to get their booster dose as soon as their symptoms stop, the Department of Health and Human Services said on Wednesday.

“In the current epidemiological context, it is recommended that all those who wish, including those who have recently had COVID-19, be able to obtain a booster dose as soon as possible. The booster dose offers better protection once morest the Omicron variant, ”the ministry said in a statement.

Appointments are already open to people over 35 years old.

Starting January 14, all adults 18 years of age and over will be eligible for this third dose of vaccine.

Remember that the Legault government has indicated that the vaccine passport will increase to three doses when the entire population has been able to access a booster dose.
