Major event of the cultural return to the region, the Fameck & Val de Fensch Arab Film Festival It is organized by the Fameck Social City in cooperation with the Education League – FOL Mosellea partnership with France Blue Lorraine.????
For its 34th edition, the Festival honors the Morocco in a program that highlights the new generation of filmmakers.
The conductor Zahia Ziouani as guest of honor this year????. In 2007, she was one of the rare female conductors in France.
After growing up in Seine-Saint-Denis, Zahia Ziouani created her own orchestra at the age of 20, the film “Divertimento” retraces part of her life.

110 screenings over 10 festival days
A selection of around forty films will be offered, all genres combined, many unpublished or in preview, feature-length fiction films, documentaries, short films, many of them unpublished. But also round tables, professional meetings and master classes.
Over ten days the programming brings together more than 110 projections bringing together countries such as: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon, etc.

Several distinctions are awarded during the list : Grand Prize, Youth Jury Prize, Press Jury Prize, Audience Prize, Documentary Prize and Short Film Prize.
President of the Grand Prize Jury: Zinedine Soualem he began his artistic career in 1976 as a street mime, he then began a theater career with Les Paravents by Jean Genet in a production by Patrice Chéreau. He has played for great French directors.
