Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar responded to the media saying that the mistake has been corrected and action will be taken against the responsible employee.
Madhya Pradesh Madhyakshetra Vidyut Vitran Company (MPMKVVC) came forward with corrective action after the incident came to the news. MPMKVVC General Manager Nitin Manglik said that the change in the bill amount was a ‘human error’ and the correct bill of Rs 1,300 was handed over to the Gupta family and action will be taken against the employee.
