According to the police, a 34-year-old driver drove his car onto the opposite lane on the B21 for an unknown reason and collided with the vehicle of a 46-year-old. The 34-year-old was pulled out of the car by a rescue team that happened to be passing by and resuscitated, but died at the scene of the accident, the fire department reported.
The second driver had to be freed from the car by the fire department. The 46-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Contrary to a statement from the fire department, there were no other injuries in the accident, the police said in response to an APA request.
