3,000 people in Malmedy for the victory of the Léonard brothers in Beijing Express

Some 3,000 people gathered Thursday evening at Intermills in Malmedy to attend, on a giant screen, the final of the 15th edition of the French program Beijing Express. During the course of several thousand kilometers through four countries, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Jordan or the United Arab Emirates, the Belgian brothers were impressive throughout the nine previous broadcasts. They also marked the history of Beijing Express with eight stage victories, a record.

They were once more formidable Thursday evening. For this final, which opposed them to the couple of dreamers, Jérémy and Fanny, they once once more distinguished themselves by winning the final stage in Dubai with more than 4 minutes ahead of their rivals.

The atmosphere was therefore at its height in the hall of Malmedy to support the two Léonard brothers. The 3,000 spectators, won over to the cause of the Belgian duo, vibrated with their heroes of the evening, not hesitating to boo their opponents. Around 11:30 p.m., it was an explosion of joy when the two local brothers won this 15th edition of the show.

The duo intends to make the family benefit from the 100,000 euros in winnings won thanks to this extraordinary experience and forever marked in the memory of the two Malmedy brothers.
