[OSEN=김보라 기자] Actress Jeong So-min (34) said regarding the reason she appeared in the movie ‘30 Days’, “The script was interesting, so I did it without thinking too much. “I had a lot of trust in coach Nam Dae-jung,” he confessed.
In an interview held at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Seoul on the morning of the 26th, Jung So-min said, “I read this script quickly and with fun. “As I was reading it, I felt like I wanted to express myself this way, so I wanted to do it,” he said regarding the reason why he decided to appear.
The movie ’30 Days’ (directed by Nam Dae-jung, provided and distributed by Mindmark Co., Ltd., produced by Film Saullim, and co-produced by TH Story) is regarding D-30, unable to withstand each other’s petulance and stubbornness, and finally becoming a perfect man, with amnesia. A comedy romance between passion (played by Kang Ha-neul) and Nara (played by Jeong So-min) who are caught up in the drama.

Jeong So-min, who played the character Hong Na-ra, said, “Rather than saying that a new mindset arises when working on a certain genre, since I am doing what I like, the work that comes to me at that time is precious. “I do my best every time I do it,” he said.
Jung So-min continued, “Thanks to Director Nam, the atmosphere on set was good. It would have been difficult if the director had not done that, but it was possible because he was a warm person. “I gained a lot of will while doing this work,” he said, expressing his gratitude.
The two worked together once in the movie ‘Gibangdoryeong’ (director Nam Dae-jung, 2019).

Jung So-min said, “One of the things I was grateful to the director for was that he allowed me to do a lot of ad-libs. He talked a lot regarding the script during a preliminary meeting with the director, and the director said, ‘Because I am also a man, I have no choice but to be more familiar with the male mind. He said, ‘I hope you talk a lot regarding the feelings of the country.’ No matter how much I prepared, it would not be possible if the director was not open, but director Nam Dae-jung listened to everything 100% like a sponge. So, a lot of what was created on the spot was used in the movie.”
The movie ’30 Days’ will be released in theaters on October 3rd. Suitable for ages 12 and up. Running time 119 minutes. (Continued in Interview ②.)
