The phone itself can charge in as little as 72 minutes, but only if you have a 25W or more, power adapter. You should know that this is not included within the device. The Fold 5 also comes with Snapdragon technology which helps it to stand above the rest. Unlike any other phones you may use this year, running 8 apps at the same time will take up everything it can give you. The battery lasts on average 48 hours between charges. This is when using it outside and inside. This is way better than the model that came out the year before.
Sustainability
The Fold 5 ultimately feels solid. It has a good fingerprint scanner and you can hit the power button if you want to unlock the device. Samsung doesn’t provide an expected lifespan for the battery but so far, it looks to last for around 500 full charges. After this point, you will probably have to replace it, so you need to keep this in mind. The Fold 5 comes from recycled aluminium as well as glass and even plastic. Samsung offers you a great deal of options when it comes to trade-in and there are numerous recycling schemes if you are willing to let go of your old device. The company does make the effort to publish annual sustainability reports but you will not be able to see an impact assessment of their devices.
