The security services of the Sohag Security Directorate managed to seize 5 people in one of the border ambushes between the governorates of Sohag and Assiut, and they possessed a large amount suspected of being the substance of narcotic hashish, amounting to approximately 80 drums, before transferring it to Assiut Governorate.
The security services of the Sohag Security Directorate had managed to seize 3 students at the Faculty of Medicine and two students at the Faculty of Pharmacy while they were trying to transport and promote a quantity of cannabis while they were crossing a Salamoun ambush in the Tama Center district, north of Sohag Governorate, a border ambush between Sohag and Assiut.
On examination, it was found that the aforementioned were on their way to Assiut Governorate, in possession of the seizures amounting to 80 cannabis drugs, which were found in the car they were traveling in. The accused and the seized items were kept, and a report of the incident is being prepared in preparation for presentation to the Public Prosecution to take over the investigation.
