Summer is for many the best time of the year. But it’s also the perfect season for mosquitoes who attack us relentlessly, day and night. And we’re not going to lie to each other, we’re all unequal against these pests. Besides, we probably all have the memory of a beautiful summer evening at the edge of a lake, spoiled by the itchingwhen others had suffered absolutely nothing… It’s very unfair yes, but there is a reason! Several factors promote bites such as the amount of exhaled CO2, perspiration, body odor released or even the temperature.
That we have a mosquito skin or not, this news might just help us ward them off. Scientists have indicated that some shades would encourage mosquitoes to bite us! And yes, the color of human skin combined with rougefrom orange or bleu particularly attracts them. Conversely, purple, green and white do not have the same attractive power. So remember to choose the colour your clothes the next time you go out!
Of course, your clothes alone will not be able to completely counter them… Remember to have your spray mosquito repellent always at hand to maximize your chances of having a good evening!
