In Fortnite v22.10, the famous Octane from Rocket League drifted to the island so creators can supercharge their experiences. And this is not just any vehicle, the Octane moves almost identically to that in Rocket League. He has boosters, supersonic speed, he can jump and do a jump! dobledodge, fly through the skies and drive off walls!
To celebrate the arrival of the Octane in Fortnite, we are challenging creators to design islands that harness the full potential of the vehicle. This doesn’t just mean speeding up the Octane to its full speed (which it can do), but using it in a fun and interesting way. We’ll be highlighting some of our favorite islands in a special Discover row in November 2022. Read on for more information, including design guidelines, tips, and shipping information.
Island Design Guidelines
We are looking for:

Revolutionary islands using Rocket League’s new Octane generator device and making the most of the driving experience in Fortnite. Celebrate the arrival of the Octane vehicle and all the new tools it brings for creators!

Detailed level design. Try to evolve the genre using Rocket League’s new Octane generator device.

The imagination to reinvent the wheel or put a twist on classic genre tropes.

Now that you’ve read the guidelines, here are some tips for spicing up your islands with the Octane. None of this is required, but you can help them after hearing the starting gun.
New throttle device
In addition to the Octane generator device from Rocket League, the creators also have the Octane generator device. accelerator. This new gadget is a customizable collection point that only works with the Octane and serves to restore its unique boost resource.

New Rocket League Item Gallery
In addition to the two new devices, we also added the Rocket League Item Gallery. With this new gallery, creators can make an island themed around the Octane’s home court. Put up Rocket League frames, banners, a car statue, and chevron lights!

Only one island per creator will be accepted.

We seek high-quality experiences that highlight the possibilities of the Octane.

Fully functional islands that use devices well, set effective limits, and are highly polished enhance the player experience and are more likely to appear in the Featured section.

Prioritize innovation. (In addition to the Rocket League Octane generator device, islands must use at least one additional device that has been released in 2022.)

Each submission requires a summary video.

Shipments do NOT need to be new islands.

We encourage the use of promotional trailers.

Including a flashy promotional trailer for your island is not required, but we do recommend it (however, a recap video is required).

How to send
The island shipping deadline begins on October 18, 2022 at 11:00 AR and 09:00 MX. Submit your island during the deadline via the Creative mode content submission form, and be sure to select the “Rocket League Octane Summons” option. Islands should be sent before from November 1, 2022 at 01:00 AR and October 31 at 22:00 MX.
