2nd straight Canadian Open win McIlroy jumps to third place in men’s golf

KPGA Championship Winner Sang-Hoon Shin, 644th → 394th

Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), who has won the RBC Canadian Open for the second time in a row on the PGA Tour, has moved up to third in the world rankings.

In the Men’s Golf Weekly World Rankings announced on the 13th, McIlroy jumped five places from 8th last week.

Scotty Schaeffler (USA) and Jon Lam (Spain) maintained 1st and 2nd places.

There was little change in the 21st place, Lim Seong-jae (24), 42th Lee Kyung-hoon (31), and 57th Kim Si-woo (27), who did not participate in the competition this week.

Kim Bio (32), who won two victories on the KPGA Korean Tour, climbed to 99th and entered the top 100.

The number of Korean players in the top 100 increased to five, including Kim Joo-hyeong (20), who placed 66th.

Shin Sang-hoon (24), who won the KPGA Championship on the 12th, rose from 644th to 394th.
