A Apple Store Online in Brazil has officially started selling 2nd generation AirPods Pro headphones with a USB-C case on the national market. The new model arrives with the mission of replacing the version of the accessory with the Lightning connector.
The price of the product in the official Maçã store is R$2,600, an amount that can be paid in up to 12 installments, or R$2,340 in cash (thanks to a 10% discount). The headphones are expected to ship within 1 business day and the company offers free shipping.
The biggest change in the new 2nd generation AirPods Pro is the MagSafe charging case with the presence of the USB-C connector. The change happened to follow the line iPhone 15which also abandoned the Lightning standard following years.
However, the changes were not just regarding the new connector. The new accessories also offer Lossless playback when used in conjunction with the Apple Vision Pro augmented reality headsetwhich arrives in 2024, due to the addition of the 5GHz band on the H2 chip.
Additionally, the second-generation AirPods Pro, whether Lightning or USB-C, also promise to deliver up to twice as much active noise cancellation compared to the previous model, and ambient mode adjusts the reduction for different situations.
Another point highlighted by Maçã is that the headphones promise to deliver up to six hours of battery life with a single charge. The MagSafe charging case also has features such as Precise Search, integrated speaker and lanyard entry.
It is worth mentioning that the 2nd generation AirPods Pro had a new firmware update released by Apple this week. The accessory received approval from the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) in September and is now available on the market.
