FVG – The Assaggi Passaggi Messaggi Festival of a territory is back with the second edition to experience and learn about the reality of the Friulian Dolomites. Appointment on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October in Valcellina, Val Tramontina, Val Colvera and Pedemontana Pordenonese with two days of events organized by the Magnificent Mountain Community of the Friulian Dolomites Cavallo and Cansiglio.
There are twelve municipalities involved in the rich program (Andreis, Barcis, Claut, Cimolais, Erto and Casso, Tramonti di Sotto, Tramonti di Sopra, Frisanco, Aviano, Budoia, Polcenigo and Caneva) which includes walks, guided tours, yoga lessons or climbing, hiking or cycling, canyoning, forest therapy and local cooking workshops.
“After the success of the first edition – explains the President of the Magnifica Comunità Dino Salatin – we are really satisfied to organize for the second year an event capable of connecting a vast, rich and complex territory, building a shared vision for the protection of the territory , social, economic and cultural development. The Magnificent Community wanted to focus on teamwork and it was a winning idea given that this year we go from eight to twelve municipalities, with institutions, activities and local operators who responded with enthusiasm.”
There are around twenty events scheduled, mostly free and by reservation, unique experiences to share with friends, with family, with children: there are excursions, guided visits to villages and natural wonders, tastings and creative activities for the little ones, trekking to discover animals, canyoning along the streams and yoga in the woods.
To eat or stay overnight during the festival weekend, there are dozens of facilities open (there is a QR-CODE in the brochure that will take you there).
