29 people died, 85 more injured: two trains collided in Greece (updated)

The incident took place on the night of Wednesday, March 1st. Both locomotives for some unknown reason were on the same track. The first wagons were completely destroyed. “In the area of ​​Evangelismos, there was a head-on collision between two trains – a freight train and an IC 62 train en route from Athens to Thessaloniki. About 350 passengers were on board at the time of the collision,” Hellenic Train said.
