2,889 confirmed cases and more than 100,000 doses delivered

2,889 confirmed cases of monkey pox had been identified Thursday in France, reports the health agency in a situation update. All concerned male adults with the exception of 34 women and 7 children, specifies SpF. That is three additional children since the previous report published on Wednesday.

Regarding the geographical distribution of cases according to place of residence or reporting, Île-de-France remains largely in the lead with nearly 1,700 cases identified, followed by Occitanie, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Provence. -Alpes-Côte d’Azur with 251, 217 and 203 cases respectively.
