The management of the Jeddah Season 2022 announced this evening, Saturday, the numbers and regions of the Jeddah season, which will start at the beginning of next May and will last for two months, during a press conference held at the Jeddah Yacht Club on the Red Sea shore.
The Executive Director of the Communication and Marketing Sector at the National Center for Events, Qassura Al-Khatib, praised the support and interest of the rational leadership in developing the events sector in the Kingdom, stimulating the regulatory environment, improving the services provided, and enhancing integration for the sustainability of the sector, stressing in his speech the endeavor of the National Center for Events under the supervision and guidance of the Events Committee of the Council of Economic Affairs. And development to provide more, bigger and better events in the Kingdom; For the welfare of society and the prosperity of the national economy, praising the partners of the center in the sectors of culture, tourism and entertainment.
Al-Khatib said that the Jeddah Season is one of the most important national events with which we look forward to making the city of Jeddah a permanent tourist destination in the region, noting that the activities of the 2022 Jeddah Season will start at the beginning of next May and will last for two months, witnessing the establishment of 2,800 events, in (9) Major areas in the city that possess all the elements of tourist attractions, through its historical, cultural and heritage status, its cultural diversity, and its unique marine identity.
In this regard, Al-Khatib said that the Jeddah Season 2022 in its second edition confirms the Kingdom’s leadership in the entertainment industry, enhancing its tourism position, and achieving the goals of Vision 2030.
He pointed out that the season will witness the establishment of (4) international exhibitions, (7) Arab plays, two international plays, (20) Arab concerts and (3) international concerts, and the season will present (70) interactive experiences and a global show (Cirque du Sully), the season will also witness (5) marine programs and activities, more than (60) entertainment games, and (60) fireworks displays throughout the season.
On the other hand, Nawaf Qumuzani, Director General of Jeddah Season, confirmed that Jeddah residents and visitors of all ages are promised a global season of joy, fun and entertainment, through the multiplicity of event areas, their diversity, and ease of access, noting that the announcement of the activities of the 2022 Jeddah Season is ahead of the start. Events It is easy for families and visitors to plan early to attend and participate in events, pointing out that the Jeddah Season creates many job opportunities for young people of both sexes, and enhances their role and participation in the entertainment industry in the Kingdom.
As for the locations of the events, Qumusati said that they will be distributed in nine main areas, namely: Jeddah Art Promenade, Jeddah Bear, Jeddah Jungle, Jeddah Yacht Club, Jeddah Superdome, Prince Majid Park, City Walk, Cirque de Sleigh, and Jeddah Al Balad.
“Kosmati” explained that the season will witness the organization of Cirque du Sly performances, designed exclusively for the Jeddah season, and educational and entertainment activities, restaurants and cafes, and a number of other experiences will be held in “Jeddah Al Balad”, and a number of other experiences. Theatre, art shows, various restaurants and cafes, and in “Jeddah Superdome” there will be a number of Arab concerts, international exhibitions, a science festival, K-pop, Comicon and the wind carpet.
He added: The “City Walk” area will be an integrated entertainment area that includes restaurants, shops, theaters, live shows, the largest interactive waterfall in the region with a height of (50 m), the largest LED screen for movie shows, a balloon experience, and nine entertainment areas, including the anime village.
He pointed out that “Jeddah Bear” will include more than (40) entertainment games, the largest mobile amusement park on the Red Sea, and (7) various international experiences, and “Jeddah Art Promenade” will offer its visitors for the first time a 60-day festival, which will be The season’s opening ceremony will be held for three consecutive days, during which daily fireworks displays, a survey tower, live shows, restaurants and cafes, and many stores will be held.
In his speech, the season’s general manager pointed out that the “Jeddah Yacht Club” will include the first tourist marina in the Kingdom, a school for driving sailing boats for the first time, luxury restaurants and shops, and a number of marine experiences, and “Jeddah Jungle” will receive its visitors at the largest animal resort in the region. On an area of square kilometres, and more than (1000) animals, including reptiles, rare birds, predators, direct interaction with animals, and a game area.

The ceremony witnessed a group of drone formations that tell the slogan of the season and event areas, as well as a corridor that included a visual show and a number of plastic arts.
The conference was attended by Prince Saud bin Jalawi, advisor to the Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, the designated governor of Jeddah, and a number of officials in Jeddah Governorate, officials of the tourism, culture and entertainment sectors, and the media.
