A 28-year-old died in a car accident in Thalheim (St. Pölten district) on Saturday night. For unknown reasons, the man’s car left the road and fell down a steep embankment. He was thrown out of the vehicle and trapped underneath. Despite attempts at resuscitation, he died at the scene of the accident, the police confirmed a report in the “Kronen Zeitung” in response to an APA request.
The fire department lifted the car and freed the 28-year-old, following which resuscitation measures began. The emergency doctor might only determine that the man was dead.
