27th Edition of the 4L Trophy: Adventures from Biarritz to Morocco

The 27th edition of the 4L Trophy began on February 14 in Biarritz with the Village-Départ, where 1,150 crews passed technical, administrative and medical checks before hitting the road.

The official departure took place on February 17 in Algeciras, Spain, where the participants embarked for Morocco.

The first stage took the trophists to Rabat, following covering 270 km or 540 km depending on the group. A first day full of discoveries, marked by the handing over of roadbooks and the first briefing.

On February 18, the crews took the road to Boulajoul, the starting point for the Moroccan desert.

The Trophists were welcomed by varied landscapes, between mountainous plateaus and monkey forests, before joining the bivouac with a breathtaking view of the snow-capped Atlas.

This Monday, February 19, the 4L left Merzouga to reach the great Moroccan South, covering 295.8 km, including around forty orientation in desert spaces. They gave their donations to the Enfants du Desert association, thus participating in the solidarity action of the rally.

On the other hand, this Tuesday, February 20, the Trophists began loops 1 and 2, with sandy obstacles and navigation through the large dunes of Merzouga on the program.
