In its daily bulletin on the epidemiological situation, the ministry also specified that the number of first-timers reached 24,891,938, that of people who received two doses amounted to 23,384,674, while 6,751,903 people received had three injections of the vaccine. The number of people who received the fourth dose is 39,449.
The new infection report brings the total number of contaminations since the first case reported in Morocco on March 02, 2020 to 1,264,342, while the number of recovered people has increased to 1,247,652, i.e. a recovery rate of 98, 7%.
The new cases of infection have been identified in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (06), Oriental (06), Béni Mellal-Khénifra (05), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (05), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (02), Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (01) and Fez-Meknes (01).
The total number of deaths rose to 16,272 (lethality 1.3%), with only one case recorded in 24 hours in the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region.
Active cases number 418, while severe or critical cases have reached 04 in the last 24 hours, bringing their total to 17. As for the occupancy rate of intensive care beds, it is 0.3%.
