On December 17, the Central First Ecological and Environmental Protection Inspection Team forwarded the 25th batch of complaints and reports from the masses to Fujian Province, involving 14 reports in our city, including 3 reports by phone and 11 reports by letters. Judging from the types of ecological and environmental issues reported in the petitions, 3 were involved in water, 8 in the atmosphere, 1 in soil, 1 in ecology, 1 in radiation, and 1 in other pollution (one petition involved 2 types of pollution). In terms of regional distribution, there are 2 cases in Siming District, 1 case in Huli District, 2 cases in Jimei District, 5 cases in Tong’an District, 1 case in Xiang’an District, and 3 cases in municipal departments. All complaints and reports have been forwarded to relevant units for processing as soon as possible.
As of December 16, the 15th batch of mass complaints and reports handed over to Fujian Province by the Central First Ecological and Environmental Protection Inspection Team involved 29 cases in Xiamen City, and all responsible units reported the investigation and handling status as required. According to the requirements of the inspectors, a list of the transfer of complaints and reports from the masses and the disclosure of changes while supervising will be published in newspapers, websites and other media.
