25 Italian Recipes That Are Easier Than You Thought

It is the classic pizza; the simplest, true, but that does not mean that it perfectly combines the flavors that have made this Italian preparation famous.

You can easily make this pizza at home, without complicating yourself too much and with an incredible result!

To start with, you can buy the ready-made doughto make it easier for you, or do it yourself at home using:

  • 500 ml of water
  • 10g of fresh baking yeast (or a bag of dry yeast)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 700g of flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Dissolve the yeast in a little warm water. Mix the flour and salt on a work surface and add the water in a well, in the center, mixing little by little. Knead for ten minutes (or in the food processor) until it is flexible and comes off your hands and the work surface. Put it in a bowl and let it rest for 1 hour in a warm place.

When ready, slice according to the size of your pizza and spread each one until they are the right thickness.

Place on the baking tray, spread the tomato sauce on top (bonus points if you make it at home), a few slices of fresh mozzarella and a drizzle of olive oil. When it comes out of the oven, add a few basil leaves.
