25 everyday products reduced by 15%: Lidl reveals the composition of its anti-inflation basket

Lidl decided to get involved in the “Anti-inflation quarter”, announced by Bruno Le Maire, Minister of the Economy. In this sense, since this Wednesday, March 29, a anti-inflation basket is offered to all customers in all of the group’s stores in France.

This is what Lidl’s anti-inflation basket contains

The German retailer’s anti-inflation basket is made up of 25 everyday products. To benefit from it, simply download the Lidl Plus smartphone application. 100 different items will be offered monthly, as the basket is changed every Wednesday. In his press release relayed by the magazine LSAthe company points out that it stands out from competing brands which will only offer a single basket for the entire quarter.

Targeted items will be reduced by 15% on average. In each basket, the consumer will find at least three fruits and vegetables, two or three meats, poultry and fish, five fresh products, as well as hygiene items and basic necessities. In addition, Lidl will offer one or two pleasure products such as a plant or other non-food product.
