The municipality and the festival committee are offering ten free concerts which will largely take place on the Place du Clos, closed for the occasion every evening from 6:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. This 24th Montauroux International Guitar Festival promises to be hot!
The program begins, as always, in the Estérêts-du-Lac district on August 3 at 8:30 p.m. with Le Chark (pop rock). On August 4 at 7 p.m., in the Saint-Barthélémy area, the Limehouse Blues Trio (jazz) will be ahead of the Duo Tissera-Toloméo (contemporary tango) at 8:30 p.m., place du Clos and at 10 p.m. Allô Papa Django, with Roland Romanelli (jazz ).
Saturday August 5, 7 p.m., Saint-Barthélémy area, place for the Korsak-Collet duo, at 8:30 p.m. Place du Clos it will be Pow-Go (funk’n rock) and finally, at 10 p.m., The Stranglers, a huge British rock band will represent the one of the highlights of this festival.
To close this edition, on Sunday August 6 at 7 p.m., Saint-Barthélémy area, the Duo Chitarron (mandolin-guitar) will perform, before 8:30 p.m., place du Clos, Karl Philips (ska punk rock) and 10 p.m. with Jacket (French pop rock ).
Free shuttles will run every 15 minutes, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., departing from the Léonard-de-Vinci college and the Floralies campsite. Departure from the village following the concerts will be from 11:30 p.m. to three-quarters midnight.
The municipality provides six free car parks and the four restaurants, food trucks and bars will be open.
