The Egyptian fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the final list of the first Egyptian team, which will play the two matches once morest Senegal, back and forth, in the final stage of qualifying for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Portuguese Carlos Queiroz is scheduled to announce the squad list for the two matches of Senegal next Saturday, corresponding to March 19, which includes 23 players.

On 25 March, Cairo International Stadium, with the attendance of more than 60,000 fans, will host the first leg match between the Pharaohs and the Teranga Lions, which will take place at nine o’clock in the evening.

The return match between the two teams will be held in Dakar on March 29, and the match starts at 7:30.

Discussions and meetings were conducted within the technical staff of the Egyptian national team, led by Queiroz, to stabilize the strength of the team in the two matches in Senegal, where the sources indicate that the Portuguese coach refused to include only 3 guards for the Pharaohs list, for fear of a repeat of what happened in the last African Nations Championship in Cameroon following the injury of goalkeepers Mohamed El-Shennawy and Mohamed Abu Jabal, and the use of the third guard, Muhammad Sobhi.

And the technical staff of the national team settled on the list of local players’ names, which may witness the return of Muhammad Hani and Yasser Ibrahim, while Muhammad Magdy Afsha continues to be excluded, in addition to Ahmed Abdel Qader from being with the Pharaohs, and the position of Muhammad Sharif has not yet been decided, in light of Queirush’s preference to call Ahmed Hassan Koca. .
